Did a quick mockup with it sitting at the correct height and the tracks:

And this 2 videos of the suspension working on the new springs. Think that's the ones!!

About the tension system, mine it's fairly simple and was the only thing i did not resembling the 1:1,because it was hard to replicate.

It consists on a "lever", similar to the suspension arms, rotating on a pivot and with a shock pushing outward.

Putting different springs inside of the shock, adjusts the tension

Here's a video :

And a quick test, pushing the car by hand

Thanks, It's my first tracked vehicle. Off the shelf scale tanks have these tension systems?

First, the usual flex shot: (it's a joke for my scale truck buddies )

And now, the video proof:

Again, have to adjust the teeth on the traction and keep adding tension on the tension wheels. It moves well back and forth but turning it's still a problem. Tracks keep going off the guides.

Very cool project. Never knew such a vehicle existed. An American RSO. Cool!

Most kits and ready to run 1/16 scale Tanks do not come with a self adjusting track tension system. I know Darryl created one for the Tamiya Tiger II, but most need a track tension system added to them just to manually adjust the track tension. Tamiya's Panther G and Tiger I have manual track tension systems. HenLong, and early Taigen Tanks didn't come with them and had to be upgraded with after market tension sets. Taigen's has updated their Panther G and F, Jagdpanther, Tiger II, Tiger I, Tanks with tension sets in their metal lower hulls. Tiagen may have updated their KV tanks as well.
Brilliant stuff, its the little touches.. I like how you show the development from rough idea to finished item it shows that these things are all achievable with a little foresight and work. Really coming along now!
Well, that M66 mount above the cab needs it's MG, in the case of the M548, usually was a Browning M2. A .50 caliber machinegun

Mine was printed and the 3d model was supplied by a fellow spaniard who is making the same truck

The gun was printed but the MG pivoting mount, ammo box and cradle were scratchbuilt

Someone should tell Lance that he's out of uniform. He needs to ditch those tennis shoes and get some proper combat boots.

I don't suppose you have an STL file for that machine gun that you might be willing to share?

I want a uniform for Lance but couldn't yet found one for 7" figures

About the Browning, it was designed and given by a fellow spaniard. I should ask him first if he don't mind. The problem is that I'm can't reach him for some time now. But I'll look into it. It's well modeled
