Saw that in August at SIME both assembled & in kit form. Overall, was impressed & looks to be an excellent buy but wish it were offered in 1/10 or 1/16.

No argument for the 1/10 scale but 1/12 scale will do for now. Isn't there something like them already in 1/16?
Not certain why 1/12 was chosen, besides doll houses 1/12 is even more of an orphan scale than 1/10 is and there aren't
even many truck accessories in 1/12.

Agreed 1/12 is weird. Re 1/16 was referring to the hobby quality of the kit vs the cheap toys HL & others make RTR. I just binned the last of those I bought earlier this year. Am itching to get one but have a few projects to finish first including my Mato-Nick M4.

That said, I'd love to see KK or Cross come out with an Opel Blitz 3T since one could have fun with that especially if they were to think outside the box & offer several versions like a Maultier.

The 6x6 doesn't come with a motor. Can anyone recommend a good one for this truck? Thanks

I still used brushed motors. I choose torque over speed so I wouldn't go much less than a 35T brushed.

Some of the other guys may be able to recommend a brushless and /or Kv rating.

The 6x6 is beautiful. Love those tires. I agree Herrmill a blitz or maultier would get me to buy one. Even in the goofy 1/12 scale. They are amazing looking trucks.

Hobby King offers the kit now & has some recommendations on the cheap:

And here's their FB page to lobby for the Blitz. Their Black Friday sale runs through the 30th & offers some nice discounts.

I'm trying to find if they or any other seller of these models has spare tires for it. That tire that I see they are equipped with now is different than what they first had
and what my 4x2 version came with. I'm hoping the 6x6 will come to me with the military non directional tires...

Cross makes a 152mm Howitzer in 1/12 scale for the Trucks to pull.

My 6x6 kit arrived today but I've not had a chance to open it yet. I might make a cursory 'unboxing' review of it later unless someone else
gets to it before me. I won't be building it for awhile. I turned into somewhat of a collector of kits and have a backlog in the build queue; actually
not at all proud of that.
