[QUOTE=Panther F; I wanna RC this!

It almost hurts to see that --- a model that will be available for a few hundred dollars that took me months and a bunch of money to scratch build yeas ago. With the modern technology of r/c gear and 3D printing I no longer have the motivation to build something nobody else has. I just wait for something that I would like to be produced and then punch in my card number at Paypal.
note: for some reason I cannot reference my old thread.
I'l try to fix this --- copy everything except the url part and do a Google search

Looks very well done from the photos. Glad it doesn't have the God awful side skirts on it.

Sorry but is absolutely irrelevant. I've been modeling since 55 years now, 40 seriously.
I've made dozens of scratch, and I'm happy when I see something new that can be shared by many.

Wow cool! I'm stoked about this one. I prob won't RC it - pretty small even in 1/16. But I like the Classy Hobby PZII Luch, Its a neat reference for bigger scales! 35rcrtank made a sweet RC version of the Pz II Luch, - no doubt will make one for this. Glad to see another 1/16 release. If only Tamiya would release something like this!

Default 35RCTank Interested

Have already been in contact with S.K. @35RCtank.com & sent him a photo of the Classy Hobby kit as I lobby for a re-release of the 38(t) & Luchs kits. He wasn't aware of it but is now & very interested.

BTW, seems he'll reissue the 38(t) it doesn't hurt for him to see more interest. Drop him a note if you want to them or the Stuart so he can add you to his mailing list.

Even as a static model, it would look nice parked next to my Sherman. Heck, it could be Lend - Lease Russian, and look great parked next to my T-34-85. I wonder how much it will cost.

Pah Co Chu Puk - the Classy Hobby kits are usually in the range of $100-$140.

Panther F - Nice Images - beauty of a model! Love the tracks. Hopefully someone will make the metal version tracks - like the 38T.

herrmil - the Luch RC conversion kit looks fantastic - lots of full option like features, but seemed to sell out fast. Hopefully they will have a kit available for this model.

I'm expecting the same as the 38t and Luchs - looks like $120 + shipping.

For those of us who were trying to go the Shapeways--Battleground toys route, seems we will have lots of options!!!!

I already have 2 HL shermans sitting here with cut down and narrowed hulls and scratch built upper hulls that I'd started about 18 months ago - hopefully they won't be too far out when the real thing arrives...

Yeah I had a lot of hopes for the Battleground toys M5. I helped him a lot with making working bogies and splitting the hull apart into RC able halves etc. But then he just disappeared after had some test bogies and he stopped answering email. His was going to be an expensive project all coming from Shapeways.

It's not even out yet and I'm already planning possible conversions. Looks like I need some more 1/35 kits for reference.
