Default Hooben 1/16 M4A2E8 Sherman "FURY" camouflage

Yes, another Hooben "Fury" thread., lol! Where can I find a diagram of the camouflage scheme for "Fury".? I have found lots of photos showing where the extra gear is stowed, but nothing about the cam pattern. Thanks in advance.

It was improvised cammo with black over OD. There was no standard pattern as it was not an authorized paytern. Only the one armor unit did it. I camt recall which one it was though.
Just watch the movie and draw your own.

Hooben "Easy Eights" may not be the best quality in materials and out of the box paint, but they can been made to look fairly nice with very little effort. Have fun with turning it into your vision.

Here is one I just finished. This was about an hour worth of painting and weathering.

Hooben "Easy Eight" with simple paint, add on kit and light weathering.

Closest thing I was able to find. Seems to match up to the movie tank.

I think a few did it - 2nd, 3rd and 14th armored divisions did for sure, probably some of the independent batalions as well.

Black sprayed over the Olive Drab. I know the 2nd armored division, 66th armored regiment did it.

I know it was more than one battalion or regiment. Was it all of them under the 1st Army or was it just random units?

It could be that other units did it too. I just know of some pictures of the 66th Reg. with O.D. and black Sherman tanks in France during Operation Cobra.

Check out this website about the 66th. It has great pictures, and part way down you can see a photo of the real "FURY" of the 66th showing the black and O.D. camo pattern.
