Default 3-D Printed Tanks

I know the guys posting here are into the traditional tanks modeled after military rolling stock, but, have any of you gotten into the 3-D printed tanks that are out there that are more bashers than what's usually out there? Thanks.

It wouldn't work from my iPad, but did from my desktop (?). I was thinking more along the lines of something like this:

https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2789361

Not along the traditional lines most of you adhere to. Something different.

Rovers are becoming more popular and there are a couple of guys here that are playing with them. They're very similar to what you provided a link to. However, I wouldn't say they have a big following here. Most of the guys here are more interested in accurate models of existing tanks.

it’s that way inn RC Groups too, but I thought I’d give it a try.

I have been doing my own designs in Tinker CAD and having them 3D printed by Shape Ways. I have done a Char 2C and just finished a kinda Heng Long bash of the big Russian SMK tank. I had several of my design parts printed for this model also.
Are you thinking of doing your own design or going with an existing 3D printed kit?

I don't have a printer, so, I was printing things I found useful on Thingiverse on a local library printer = send in file, get file approved and set up to print and then come in at my scheduled time to do my parts = PITA! Now, even that's gone.
FWIW, there's a guy in Maine whom I've used who is very reasonable. He charges by the gram of material and postage to ship. His email address is:
[email protected]
In addition to the STL files, he would also like a reference like the Thingiverse # so he can get the setup parameters.
I tried using Tinkercad and had a hard time trying to get my dimensions and shapes what I wanted them to be. I'm used to using a real CADD program and couldn't get used to it.

I am an 3D print designer focused on the 3D printable RC tanks.

I dont have posted my work here, because i was not allowed to post pictures.
Even not allowed to post links to my work.
I can fully understand that rule, but i dont have anything to say excepting my 3D printable tanks.
This is my post number 8, so i can show you something soon.

Have worked on the 3D printable tanks for 4 years, spent first 2 years with my first tank and now i have worked on Hetzer for 18 months.

I have spent all that time with designing and manuals - models are full of functions, optional parts and details.
My printing and assembly guides contains hundreds pages full of big pictures.
Detailed step-by-step instructions.

Now i have scrolled this thread and i see that you are looking for something different.
I have just this Hetzer.

Have seen some really fast unconventional tank somewhere.I will send you link if i find that again.

Sounds pretty impressive. I guess I don’t understand the rules about displaying what you’ve done.

I think he means the 10 post rule. Any new member has to post at least 10 times before they're allowed to post photos or links. This is to help prevent spam.
