Default FMS 1/12 1941 Willys MB

FMS is releasing a smaller 1/12 1941 Willys MB with supposedly more detail & features. Saw the trailer yesterday on my dealer's site & you can watch on FMS' FB page:

Supposed to be available in a couple weeks.

Nice, but odd size. It looks like more and more vendors are making 1:12, but weird scale. They did a nice job on the big brother version. An RC Kubel, or Schwimmwagen in 1/6 would be better!

It had better be the gold plated Cadillac of Jeeps to sell in any numbers because the well detailed 1/10 JJRC 65 version sells for less than $50 and while it suffers from some basic failings it is very easy (And Cheap) to fix and as many of us on this Forum get our kicks out of fixing stuff a perfect 1/12 Jeep may well put people off.

Yea, have to agree on questioning the need to do in 1/12 given the dearth of figures available on the market. Torro is to release a 1/8 Schwimmwagon within a few months so I guess their thinking is to have a captive market & sell their over-priced figures as optional accessories.
