Default What is in your Motor Pool?

Ok lets start off by learning about what Tanks are in your motor pool!!

I will start off...
1/6 Scale M5 Stuart from 21st Century in winter camo....big...weighs in at about 25 lbs..
1/16 Tamiya Tiger 1 Full Function with Tamiya Battle Unit
1/16 Tamiya King Tiger Full Function with Tamiya Battle Unit

I belong to the Texas Armor Association (TAA) and we meet once a month in Austin Texas at Camp Mabry's Texas Military Forces Museum..Awesome to be able to walk amongst the Legends of WWII...Sherman, Pershing, Half Tracks,etc..Pretty Cool...
We primarily engage battles with Tamiya Battle Unit Equipped 1/16 R/C Tanks as well as the small Infra-Red R/C Battle Tanks by VS ..

Three 1/6 scale M5 Stuart tanks
One 1/16 scale Tamiya King Tiger (old scool with clutch)
One 1/16 scale Tamiya Full option M4 Sherman BTU equiped (so I can Kill Tigers)
Two 1/16 Henlong Tiger 1 (Shoots 6mm BB's)

My small but growing motor pool:

One 1/16 scale Tamiya King Tiger (old school with clutch) I know copy cat...
One 1/16 scale Tamiya Sherman kit 56005. This is just the 2 channel...love those metal tracks.

I'm just a fireman that's always loved R/C vehicles...still looking to ad a Tiger I to my motor pool.

All the Tamiya 1/16 full option kits except the King Tiger. Before Tamiya offered the full option King Tiger, I had converted a Porsche turreted King Tiger to full option. Good thing Tamiya at least chose to make the Henschel turret model their full option offering, otherwise my efforts would have been for naught! Well, you can check them all out including videos for most at [link=http://www.rcgrabbag.com]www.rcgrabbag.com[/link].

The begining of a 1/6 scratch build British Comet...
For paintball fighting of course...
If I knew more about computers I would post a pic of the turret beginings...

I got into R/C cars years ago and gravitated to 1/4 scale cars when they first appeared on the scene...Did that for a few years and then got out of hobby...The r/c combat tanks have rekindled the interest...and the challenge of building added to it...

Hi all, Been a while since I have been on so just catching up with things.
My motor pool consist of the following:

1. Tamiya 1/16 King Tiger 333 FF w/TBU
2. Tamiya 1/16 Tiger I 142 FF w/TBU
3. TUS 1/6 M-5 Stuart
4. WSN 1/16 T-34/85 for a future refit.

I can remember always wanting to have a tank to run around and play with and last year discovered
that it was now reality. Thanks to everyone who has been very helpful.

Here is a pic of KT 333 and TI 142. 142 is not quite completed yet. Just finished all the big things tonight and took her out for some test firings with 333. Runs beautifully.
