Default WSN/Trumpeteer/Mitsuwaba Russian T-34 OverView!!!

Just got my WSN/Trumpeteer/Mitsu Russian T-34 R/C Tank....Here is what you get....It comes nicely packed in this box with the transmitter and tank wrapped in clear protective plastic with the "detailed/accessory parts" individually wrapped with antenna for tank...There are 2 different frequencies noted out of the 4 T-34 tanks I received...I ordered 4 Tanks for several club members and myself....Anyhow...here are the Pics as I open the box...

Default RE: WSN/Trumpeteer/Mitsuwaba Russian T-34 Available for SALE!!!

As noted..the T-34 is complete with "markings" and also slight weathering which is nice...The Tank has a Strong Turret Rotation that many Tankers have begun to try to adapt to Tamiya Tanks as it is very strong and seems to be better than the Tamiya Rotation unit...However other than this the T-34 will basically be a "shell" for us to convert to Tamiya Electronics...Multifunction and DMD unit with Tamiya Battle Unit to participate in Combat....txtanker has already converted his with Tamiya Pershing electronics to Full Function Combat ready status...txtanker can you post pics and give us a run down on the conversion??
In this last pic can you see the Tiger 1 in the Background...THis will give you an idea of the size difference between the two..as they are both 1/16 scale..[8D]

Default RE: WSN/Trumpeteer/Mitsuwaba Russian T-34 Available for SALE!!!

I decided to have a Line up of the Tamiya Tanks in my motorpool to compare with the T-34...These are ALL 1/16 Scale so the size difference is accurate....I will post more pics as soon as I add the detail parts..This T-34 has a working green tinted headlamp and also features turret rotation, elevation, red flash unit for maingun firing and also dual motors with plastic tracks..Not bad as a shell for a Tamiya upgrade....Once Tamiya electronics are added it will cost as much as a full function Tamiya Pershing would had cost to buy...However it will be a not so common 1/16 r/c battle tank...[8D]
Please note that NONE of the detailed parts have been added and that txtankers completed T-34 is Nice looking with all the details added to it...including those barrels and rear exhaust... txtanker ...post some pics here please....[8D]

I got a special deal b/c I bought 4 at once..One may go to ebay and purchase them..THey run anywhere from 90 dollars to 150 dollars shipped...THey are merely a "shell" to convert into Tamiya Electronics...THe Tank is nice but Is not Tamiya equipped...The TUrret rotation is nice...Tracks are hard plastic and thin but overall It is a nice tank if you dont mind adding the Tamiya MF and DMD units to..SOme also add tamiya gearboxes and motors as well...Daryl has done a full function Trumpeteer Static kit to full R/C and it looks awesome.. txtanker did the conversion of the r/c one as pictured above and said it wasnt so terribly tough just take your time...I believe he used the Pershing components... I hope he can give us details and pictures...Kinda like a do it yourself conversion topic...TXTANKER...can you??? Tanks..

I'm a little confused here. Did you say you got these from ebay, or somewhere else. The ones i've seen some on ebay go for around 100.00 or more as you were saying, but not all are RC i believe. Tower has them listed for 129.00 but their not RC either. I would like to get an RC version of one of these but fear ebay from previous experiences! Thanks in advance.

I will post the information later tonite of who I bought them from....He is a good supplier....I rec'd all 4 T-34s in 10 days from HongKong... If you buy a box of 4 r/c T-34's it is better...YOU can get a roster of people to order together and then all buy a box of 4...much less expensive...about 85 dollars each shipped this way....If you want i will post the info...

How are these just for the first time tanker that wants to play around and check out the tanks in the hobby? I have been looking at these the 1/16 Tigers on Ebay for a first time tank to play with (not serious scaling or anything like that, just playing around).

Tank duel, Toys east doesnt show any T-34's in stock under the heading WSN. Doesnt show where they would have them listed otherwise that i can see? I bought a Hen Long Tiger 1. Nice! A poor mans Tamiya i guess! Good enough for me! Deffinitely would like to get a RC T-34/76. Someday. I'm presently building a 1/6 scale Sherman M4A3 for the paintball battles seen at rctankcombat.com. Wont have scale track systems due to the rugged nature of that scenario. Building a 1/6 scale Deuce & 1/2 truck as well. I also have 4 of the Older Megatech/Hobbico/Ripmax, and whoever else was makeing them over the years, 1/20 scale MIAI tanks. Their the fast, poor detail versions. They have a bullet proof gearbox, track and electronics system though. My plan is to use these systems for several scratchbuild jobs. Regardless, untill i get my hands on a digital camera i wont be able to post anything here. Good luck with these T-34's. They look like a great alternative to the usual Tamiya offerings only available to those with a larger amount of deposable cash!

Ohiomike, try this
http://www.toyeast.com/v2/prodlist.asp?catid=911
If the link doesn't work go to www.toyeast.com click on RC, then tanks, then WSN to find it.
I have some pics at www.rctc.co.nz under dispatches, also have started a 'how to' article to upgrade with Tamiya electronics in th 'Motor Pool' section.
