HL Tiger I night maneuvers pics
Due to my work schedule (pretty much all the time) and kids, a lot of my R/C driving gets done at night under a security light in the backyard. I thought I would take some pics of my Tiger I going through its paces last night. The mission was a success! 4 Shermas destroyed, 1 *****cat, and two beagles. (Actually, no animals were harmed in the filming of this mission. There has been two stray cats show up at my house, but they bolt when they hear the tank start up, so no target opportunities there. Two neighbor's beagles -- who have been tracking through my yard some nights keeping me awake -- did make a guest appearance last night, but I could never hit the cursed beasts with the main gun. Those dogs actually seemed to think my Tiger was pretty insignificant, and went about their normal business). The tank again ran flawlessly, except for the occasional slight track derailing incidents. I noticed when I got in last night, that one pin had almost backed out entirely on a segment of track, probably causing most of my problems. Again last night, I abused the tank, climbing and clawing up everything I could find, and taking some nasty spills along the way -- driving it like a T-Maxx. Nothing was damaged, and I gained some more natural "weathering" in the process. I think the next tank I buy will be more of a "looker," but I'm having too much fun driving this one.

Are you running metal tracks with that?
I've totally abused my Tiger but the metal track upgrade kit has never come off yet! Time to drive it through the forest behind me and see what that does .... <grin>

I've owned mine for over a week now and I can't complain that much, the speed is good and it climbs the hills and rifts in my yard...
I am planning a video shoot of the Tiger I soon, this should be fun, a run at the beach would be fun as well but my time is kinda limited
like a few others.. but hey we need to have fun right?

Did the tank commander bail out? One pic he's there, and then *poof* he's gone.
Do you plan on repainting the tank? I think you should at least paint the horrible silver sprockets and idlers if only to make it more uniform. But if your next tank is going to be the looker, then concentrate on that one.
