-do you see the switch under the gunner hatch on the turret ?

-if so , is it switched "on" ?

-is it brand new, does all his tanks comes that way(maybe a defective) ?

if you answered yes to these questions ,
you will have to dismantle the tank to see wich wires are unpluged or unweld.

the shooting distance can be upgrade by installing a marui or vs tank shooting unit.

Surely you guys must be kidding. I mean I would've thought that the tanks were disabled by cutting the gun motor wires and maybe jamming something up the pipe (barrel) to block it from shooting. [sm=75_75.gif]

Having the gun switched to OFF is not actually disabling it.

The airsoft gun ON/OFF switch is a factory installed accessory, and if I'm not mistaken, is switched to the OFF position before it leaves the factory...

i think harquebus is right,
it would be too easy just to switch it on ,
probably they have open the hull and cut a wire that goes to the shooting unit .
only you guys(australians) can tell us what they did [&o]
let us know when you will open it.

Cpt Pershing:

My advice to you is... don't get a Pershing that has its airsoft gun disabled. I thought you were in Australia so I figured you had no choice. But the profile by your name says "USA" so I'm baffled. Are they (airsoft guns/shooting tanks) illegal where you live?

Regards,
-Harque

Did you Australians ever determine how the Heng Long tanks were disabled from shooting?

I don't think this matter was ever settled. Su27FlankerSMT had resurrected the inquiry via another post so that is why I inquire.
