Default Removing Idler Wheels??

Another rooke question. I have totally disassembled my HL Tiger except I can't get the rear wheels off. I have seperated the two halves, but I can't get the post out of the hull. I have pulled and even tried to pound them our with a small screw driver and hammer.

What is the secret?

OK this is what i did. You get a flat screw driver and put it in the middle of the post and the wheel and you wedge it of(same as a crow bar 2 bits of wood).

They are only press fit. One tank they pulled right out, on another I hammered them out from the inside.

Its just a stiff one mate. If you can get a flat screwdriver in between the back of the idler and the body and simply twist the screwy it should budge ( see pic). Its usually this intial movent thats hard to overcome , once done it should come off. Then its like pulling a cork out of a bottle, two fingers behind the wheel, the other hand on the tank hull and pull like mad.

Looks like the tank will suffer some damage during the process, no?

Thanks Boys!! I got them off at the expense of one of the wheels. No worries though because I have metal replacements.
