interesting, but wonder if the tank could also move. Some nice work went into the TC's robotics, and the other Stuart videos, (probably from Germany from the background talking) showed some nice work but one got totally away from reality with all the pivoting. Stuart had a hydramatic design transmission but no pivot. [X(]
Thanks for sharing

Very, very nice...the guy did some realy great work on making it look real, including the flopping metal sand skirts. Wonder where he got the engine and track sounds...Any idea who owns this stuart? A set of Jack Yang's tracks would make it extremely real....mine are due in any day and I already have the spares he sent me mounted on the bow. I just have to repaint the lower section after doing some hole patching. I'd like to get with someone and get some elevation/depression on the main gun. Some guys have done it. The Stuart is a fun tank but needs some improvements on speeds and gun movement.

Why does everyone have "bleach-white" sandbags. First thing I'd do is dye them darker...

I'm not 100% sure about this, but I believe this was sold on the 'bay a little while ago. If I recall correctly the seller stated that the sounds were over-dubbed for the videos. They would've been excellent if from the tank!!

[email protected] or check some his posts on M5stuartrctankbattalion. His tracks are all hand made and are the correct single block, guide-tooth-on-end-connector track and he also has fillers to cover the gap on the double bogies and idler.

Just drew them from QM...the Lt said they were being sent to Iraq but he let me have a few....after a few miles through mud and road dust, they'll tend to get darker

Wow, I just found this... fame at last, lol.
Yeah, I sold it on Ebay last year as it was gathering dust in the workshop and I needed the cash at the time. [>:] I haven't heard anything from the guy who bought it, perhaps it'll turn up at some shows this Summer?

I need a new project to replace it, might animate a DAK Kubel I have already started to RC. Working on the 1/16th and 1/4 animatronic commanders at the moment, I'll post a video ASAP on YouTube.

cheers,
Sym.

While I did fall in love with that M5 tank commander animatronic (and wanted it), one in 1/16th would be even better for my collection!

Keep us updated!

Hi Sym

Any info on how to animate the figure the way you did for that video? It really made the tank for me.

Cheers
