Source for HL Tiger parts?
Anyone know any good places in US & Canada to get HL Tiger parts such as rear engine grills, barrel extension, metal headlights etc., basically
all the metal parts you find at Tankzone but in US/Cad with US/Cad prices?
I've looked around a bit, like on ebay but everything that comes up is in the UK and prices after conversion are a little high.
Thanks for any suggestions.[sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Tankzone is overpriced full-stop, some of there stuff is 3-5x dearer than other places which is just ludicrous[X(]
Problem with metal accessories are a lot of them are limited-production and a lot of the manufacturers for them are based in Europe, and not many shops out there that have all of them in one place...

I'd rather build some of it myself, but I'm not superskilled at making tiny parts. Some of that stuff looks well made but $20+ for photo etched grills is too much.

Yep, your home computer through the great online auction site. Our friends in England, blueslateman, pugwash, military might, etc. provide most of these items at very reasonable prices and shipping rates to the USA. Always a pleasure to do business with them.
Some things can be had at Bob's ETO Armor and Willy's RC Custom Models which are in Florida and Tennessee respectively.

And once the paint is on it, you can barely tell the difference at 20ft/RC-playing range

I guess ebay's the way to go. I found the sellers you mentioned swathdiver, so I'll probably go with one of these.
Thank you both for your input.[sm=thumbs_up.gif]

The later Torro (still WSN.... but yeah, the "VS" series) use very thin plastic, much less rigid than even the original WSN T-34. If you have seen the pics of the broken WSN Tiger I have put up, they are made from VERY thin plastic, and whilst their tracks are closed-pin they are made from a very brittle and easy-wearing material, again much less durable than HL stock plastic tracks.

Making your own photo-etch parts.... some years ago there was an article in the Finescale Modeler magazine on how to make your own photo-etch parts. Apparently there are kits you can get to make them. It does involve some photographic work... making the negative then applting the special coating to the brass sheet then exposeing it and developeing the brass then etching the brass. I have etched printed circuit boards for small electronic projects.
here are a couple links that may be of some help
