New heng Long 1 16 rc tanks
Does anyone have any news regarding any new developments from Heng Long for 2008.
I know the panzer IV is out and a revised Panzer IIIH is on its way.

You're think about the M-3 TD with the 3 inch gun. It was not a very effective design and they did not fare well except in one campaign in Africa. The 3 inch giun (75,777mm) was an outmoded M-1918 anti aircraft gun and the weight of the gun caused many of them to tip over on some hills. The gun had to be within 20 degrees L or R of the target to engage which made maneuvering in combat very difficult. It was OK as an ambush vehicle, but that was not it's intended design.

That's exactly what I was thinking of doing with the Trumpeter static half track. Make it a TD to go up against my 501 Tigers!

Question from a new tanker, are the 1/16 tanks shown on RAIDENTECH AIRSOFT, are they HENG LONG Tanks?, I'm confused on the Heng Long Tanks and airsoft. I ordered 3 S&S tanks from Raidentech, are these Heng Long, one ad says Heng Long, i'm confused.

As mentioned before in past posts that I saw from visits to their factory:
Stug III, KV1, Comet... possibly a KT & Sherman. IR battle system has been underdevelopment for over a year.
They would love to do something BIG in 1/6 scale, hence the Stuart sitting in their showroom.

Are they smoke and sound equipped? Does the radio have a removable crystal on lower right side?
If so, you could run 2 tanks with one remote but it would be awkward. They each need different frequencies.
Non-smoke and sound tanks come with fixed crystals and an ABC setting inside the tank and on the transmitter in place of the crystal. Just make sure the tank and radio are on the same setting, A, B, or C. Pershing's smoker/channel switch is in battery compartment.

No. You can run them simultaneously only if they have different frequencies.
What swathdiver was saying about two tanks on one transmitter only applies if you like mass confusion-two tanks operating in tandem, and not very good at that.

Ok, you can buy 27mhz FM crystals from Tower Hobbies. The Hobbico Red Hawk brand works and I'm sure Harq and others will chime in on the other brands.
