Heng Long gearbox allied/axis output shaft differences - with pics
Everyone talks about it, but nobody has shown the difference, so here goes (using the 2-3yo plastic variants I have handy). This shows why the allied gearbox is better suited to retrofitting into larger non HL tanks, like the Matorro KT and 1/12 Abrams etc (longer output)

what is the actual length of the output shaft in the allied tanks?
thinking of getting a gearbox from customrcmodels & just maybe use it for my torro KT if all goes well
