Default Extra links?

Hi, would adding the extra track sections provided with my tank be a good idea? I noticed that the tracks are tense enough in my PZIII, would a bit of extra slack in the tracks improve performance?

Metal/plastic? Panzer III is the most-affected tank of the HL range for tracks making their way off, so be careful with track tension...

Extra links are not worth it at all. It seems sloppy and the tracks derail so easily.

I disagree. Loose tracks are better than tight tracks. I added extra links to my PzIII and PzIV and they drive much better, and look great too.

Panzerfaust77,

I don''t mean to seem skeptical but are those metal tracks you are running i can see they might work a little loose, or else you drive that tank like its in a Parade!?

Video would be cool of these cruisers!

Yes they would. If its really tight it would help. If its just kind of tight then afer some use the tracks will stretch some to make the tank useable. I had one Panzer III which was so tight that it almost didn''t run. after adding an extra link it worked great.

LOL my tanks are for ceremonial use only! I drive them around the flat and that's about it :P

That said, the tracks have shown no sign of coming off, and there's some pretty rough terrain here; my unwashed laundry makes a formidable obstacle to even fully metal-upgraded armor...
