How are you guys thinning the tamiya acrylic paint with the tamiya acrylic thinner. Ratio paint to thinner.

RE: Tamiya Paint
you can also use 99% Isopropyl alchohol (rubbing alchohol) which is the same as the tamiya thinner and much cheaper. 500ml/16.90 oz for $2.14.
I also use it to clean my airbrush, wipe things down etc.

RE: Tamiya Paint
I usually go about 1 part thinner 2-3 parts paint for airbrushing. I've never tried rubbing alchohol but it would diffently be cheaper. I'll have to try it out

RE: Tamiya Paint
Depending on how big of an area (or how fine a line) I am painting I thin between 30 and 50% thinner to paint. I use windshield washer fluid for thinning and cleaning. It's cheap - 99 cents for a gallon at Walmart.
