Looking forward to more PZIV accessories and builds for both brands. I have one from HL still in the box, will someday convert it to an F2 with a laser battle system.

Not ordering from Japan this time, I'll order USA or Hong Kong from vendors like Tomas with VQ WARBIRDS Texas and or hobby shop locally or Karen at the Tank Museum and wait, guessing another 90 days until the kit arrives in the USA. Also, I'll wait until the after market parts show up and any kit issues are known. John

With 380 motors, wonder what gear ratio it will have?
Notice the low profile gearboxes, (a Stug is a likely next 'quick' issue!) Following the JP release from the Panther.
Hope metal tracks become available for it!

I think your right about a follow up Stug.
The transmissions are a start in the right direction if you want to scratch build a JagdPanzer IV L/70 Lang and mod the Jadgpanther traverse elevation system for the main gun, but I hope they also release a Tamiya 1/16 RC Kit Lang. My 1/35 build below.

Here is a photo of a knocked out Lang for those not familiar with this WWII German Pz4 based tank destroyer.

The "Lang" had the L/70 'long' barrel (w/o the brake), the version you built is the L/48 with the muzzle brake.

Your correct as always, but the L/70 variant mentioned is just my preference if Tamiya sees fit to release a 1/16 RC Lang with the long barrel some time in the future.

If they did do the LANG I would be able to see how they did the gun mechanics and can finish my HL Lang.
Thanks

My guess is that Tamiya would recycle the solution and some common parts as found in the Jadgpanther and parts from other kits:
Using the elevation motor units for traverse and main gun elevation and (though the recoil unit might pose a fit problem) I think all in all the images of this Tamiya Jadgpanther setup "might" be close for both a Tamiya RC 1/16 Stug and Lang. Hope this helps. John

I dare say a Hummel is a bit of a stretch, being a mixture of III and IV... but at least theyre setting themselves up for some variety, and it will be nice to have the manufacturers start pumping out spares to suit

Nice work Thomas, any plans to make the Zwischen Losung Jagdpanzer too?
Please post some more pics of the Lang if you can. [sm=thumbup.gif]

If there is any kind of pattern in the Tamiya releases they have released a tank and then the tank destroyer variant afterwards. The question is, will it be a stug, lang, nashorn ?

no side to side movement/recoil. Just airsoft and gun elevation. I'll put a pic up of the internals when I get home

here's the inside of my Jadgpanzer. I had to think outside the box to fit the airsoft unit and gun elevation motor.
