Having suspension issues? Get the PZIII upgrade springs and put them in at the 4 corners. They're way too stiff for a PZIII btw. Take the old springs from the Walker and plop them in your PZIII and it'll run much better too! Wish they made adjustable idlers, it's a DIY affair now. There are 2 sets of tracks made for it and the link below has a couple of accessories.

James, thanks for the heads up on Modelbau. Nice stuff. Looks like I'll get rid of the 105mm my M-41 has and mount a proper 76mm. They have added a lot of new stuff and prices aren't that bad.. Just have to find a couple better 90mm's now.

Wow!!! Looks like they offer an aluminum gun for the Stug III either A or B version! The aluminum barrel for the M41 looks good too.

They have some nicely turned aluminum stuff but since there's certain dimensional errors on some of their wares (.50 M2 barrel assy) does anyone notice any other discrepancies? Does the M41 76mm barrel have the correct proportions? [sm=72_72.gif]
In other words, their turned aluminum .50 replacement barrel has inaccuracies: the actual barrel has a nice taper to it and the perforated section closest to the receiver has a flared shape; it is not perfectly cylindrical for its entire length.

I copy the text from each ad and translate them in babelfish. Babelfish doesn't like to translate the whole page on my computer for some reason. Some of the metal barrels are set up to recoil with the asiatam recoil unit and have LEDs for simulating the muzzle flash.

RE: walker bulldog upgrades any out there
hey jimmy, if you work out a price and the compatibility of the metal tam parts from the pershing for the bulldog, let us know..? i'm well interested in that idea..!!!
i did the pzIII springs to the four corners (and matched and upgraded most of the others whilst i was at it) but it would be nice to get some metal suspension parts on there..
i now run 3 hl tanks (1xm41,1xtiger late,1xtiger early-my sons) and the bulldog is the best running, sweetest tank of the lot..? i can't beleive there are so few upgrades and add on parts for it..[][]
rgds stu
p.s. like the look of the bearing and plate assembly on the tank modelbau site...looks easy enough to do yerself..!

I ordered the Tamiya pershing suspension parts the bag number 56016 for $21.50 per bag you need 2 bags to get 5 right and 5 left arms for the bulldog im going to try using the bulldogs plastic shocks the Tamyia Pershing shocks realy dont have any spring function at all may have to cut off the shafts and drill out for mounting to bulldog good that I have a drill press but better see if they will fit as is first .

RE: walker bulldog upgrades any out there
had looked into that and might work but this for me is the simplest option
made the plate and allen bolt adjusment high enough so i could get to it with everything attached quick tweek and your good to go
anything fancier than that would give me a real headache (still pondering the adjustible idler solution for my tiger and man that one's a killer LOL)

Looks cool!
Gonna post this on your build thread as well?
Never mind...there it is followed by a great tutorial on removing the suspension for spring upgrades. I should read all of the threads before answering one.

RE: walker bulldog upgrades any out there
thanks guys been pondering the suspension for a while and think bowlmans tamiya pershing idea will be good
the only difference i can see is the idler as the pershing uses a double suspension arm linked to the first roadwheel which could pose a problem
also got a good fix for the roadwheel removal on the dog but more on that later will popst some pics (you all know i like my pics LOL)

RE: walker bulldog upgrades any out there
It looks like the only parts you need from the tamiya pershing kit is the single suspension arms there are only 3 right and 3 left on the pershing so you need 2 bags to get a total of 5 right and 5 left for the bulldog the suspension on the bulldog works mostly off the shocks for track tenstion but fv432 has a good ideal that would work better for metal tracks his adjustable idler has promise .
