LOVE THE METAL TRACKS...they say august hope they meet the date!!
I think this is just what the tiger I needs heak all the VS tanks can use em!!

VVSS shermans with the welded body... I wonder why they did not make teh casted bodies instead

There are many variations to both the welded and cast hull Shermans. If I was doing an M4 I would've left OFF the applique armor and let the modeller add it. Costs less and you'll have a happier customer who didn't have to spend hours and hours sanding and filing for a different look.

Wonder if the suspension articulates like it should?

The 1/16 Forces Of Valor Sherman made that same mistake too on it's earlier pictures. Mistakes like that are enough to drive you crazy.

The camo version seems to not have the applique armour, maybe the one in olive drab has them added and they are really optional?

I can't comment (don't know!) on what M4 versions will ultimately be produced, but there will be at least 4, including 105 and 75mm guns. I prefer modern armor myself, but these look nice.

And if anything is really killing any of you guys about these tanks, or you have any suggestions...let me know. I can pass them directly to Steve. I regularly gather up what I see here and on other forums to keep Steve up to date on the US market.

Bummer type 90 is the old electrics one speed reverse...and that new radio works worse than the old one hand held radio did on the old electronics!

The 07 radio absolutely blows the old V2/V1s out of the water, man...the difference is huge!

And I'm not sure what version electronics the Type 90 is on, or if Toyeast actually has them...they weren't ready yet from what I heard. Can't hurt to email them, though...I've got some solid models for Steve, I'll ask him.

Not true this type 90 has one speed reverse so it's the old electrics... and the radio works worse than the one hand held old version for the tank like the first versions had..... here is why the new radio when turning only turns fast speed where as the old one turned with a extra speed slower for turning so it turned gently and the new one when going faward and turning quickly jerks the tank as it turns ,,,,,the old one has extra turning speeds... i tried one of the 07 radios on my older tank they stink because of the turning speed function that it has lost....

For me at least, the new radio beats the old one simply for the continuous movement fucntionality. To each his own, though.

And we don't know what radio is included with the Type 90 yet - Toyeast is using a stock photoshop and blurb for the image - most VsTank retailers do it, which leads to a lot of confusion, as these boards are witness to. I'll see what Steve says.

So does the old radio you just hold down A left and right turn button both at once and the tank goes straight farward and lift off one button to turn.....Actually works much smoother than that botch jovb of a new radio.......And there are more turning speeds so it's better!

You've got an intermediate radio rev, then...05s don't do that.

Hi gbergevin,

Something bothers me about the coming Tiger metal track...I guess you are aware that the Tiger's suspension is among the softest of the rest. I wonder whether it can handle the weight of the metal track or not...or do we need to upgrade the suspension springs first...

Because the metal tracks rest on the road wheels, very little sprung weight is added to the tank, so I think it will be fine. If new springs are needed, its hardly a big deal...I upgrade all mine, anyway.

ok gbergevin Here is what workes better on the old radio shown above...I just tested both radios to comfirm this.

New Radio only has thw fast #2 turning speed so when you run in slowest #1 speed and turn it jerks very fast it actually turns faster than it's driving ...


Old radio had 2 speeds for turning i can press turn speed low buttons both down at once and tank runs at slow speed staright farward and when i lift one finger off one of the turn buttons tank turns at same faward speed smoother actually looks more like how the New tiger and T72 tanks turn
This is why i just use the old radio on my older tanks it really works better for smoother driving...more proportional..

My 2007 Leo is a love/hate relationship with it's crappy controls and clutch grinding turns. Hope we get the correct info before my Type 90 ships because I can't afford $130 shipped for another tank I have to upgrade. Please let it have 2008 electronics.
