Matdragon everywhere i have looked has no tamiya spray paints, ebay is pretty limited too even if you do worldwide.

Maybe try a EU or US site and see if they'd ship to UK?

Matt,
There was a post about this last week tamiya spray paint has been k for over a year now the wording on the can is wrong so the Hobby company will not sully the paint this isn't a problem all across Europe as they simply add a sticker with the right wording to the cellophane wrapper all you can do is ask one of our European members to obtain and post it to you or Google serch yourself, "Tamiya vaporisent la peinture" and you will come up with a list of French sites where you can buy paint like this http://www.twenga.fr/dir-Jeux-Jouets...nture-maquette easy isn't it

i know, its silly isnt it! the reason i dont want to buy from abroad is because i dont want to pay hugh shipping or import, making the spray really expensive

thanks,

Matt

I wouldn't beat myself up if you can't get Tamiya or it's too expensive. Try Model Master's Africa Mustard with a light coat of Testor's Desert Tan over it. Just a suggestion.

hey panther F

thanks alot for the suggestion, although me being me and not a very skilled at mixing and giving 'light coats' of paint ect, think that its a bit over my skill level!

thanks loads though for the suggestion! ... just wondering, panther F is that remond what you use instead?

thanks,

Matt

I've heard modelers say the Tamiya Dark Yellow is too dark and that they cut it 70% with white. Now, Tamiya is going to recommend Tamiya paints so I say go with what looks right to you. I've used that color but if it wasn't available I'd experiment some. Your base color or primer will effect the shade of your final choice of color, but weathering techniques can change the outcome as well.

I have been testing these things and that's about right.

Matt,
I lived in Brussels until earlier this year several times I posted paint home one thing you will find is some things are more expensive in Europe than England Petrol is slightly more expensive than hear I think the paint was €7.20 per can I posted the paint in batches of three cans the postage was €14 this was insured and signed for and was with the guys within 3 days there where no import duty's as we are in the EEC that means we don't charge one another import duty buying from the states is a different matter most of the time you will get away with duty some times you will get stung but from Europe no duty you could get your paint posted for less but this will take longer.
And you have a guy offering to airbrush the tank for you that's got to be worth a few beers

Hi Matdragon and all tankers

If you and others will like to buy these Tamiya spray can, you can buy this in Germany right here:

http://www.axels-modellbau-shop.de/k...20_139_62.html

The price in USD is 8.63, not bad - here in Denmark it cost about USD 16.00 (for one). [>:]

I have bought several times at Axels modellbau shop - they take PayPal.
