Hey Guys,

I know a lot of you are out of town for the Holiday but Armored Tankers Association of California is having a battle,,, its first at Kit Carson Park!

6 confirmed tankers will be there, lunch for a donation, Hotdogs Burgers, and chips, maybe potato salad

Event starts at 9 am and first battle at 11:00 am, and go until the sun goes down! Friday 11/28/08

Bring props if you want but we will have a small town, 3 bridges, and a improved US Army Base!

Here is the location Kit Carson Park,,, the EL Arroyo Picnic area # 2, e-mail me for more info or to get my cell number! [email protected]

Here is a map of the park!

Thanks ICE

We have a covered pavilion with 4 different outlets with 4 plugs on each,,,.. so plenty of power 10 feet from the battle field!!!

I will get some pictures tomorrow, of the battle field I think that the paratroopers are going to land first and start securing the ground for the US Army base!

It was a very fun day for all who could make it! We had a few no shows, and few surprise visits, and a few who where walking by and joined in the action!

Our long distance participant came from Bakersfield California, very impressive Peskybobcat! Pesky took the time to stop by with a few other guys I think relatives they were on their way down to see the Midway! They got to break in the battle site and we got in about 4 battles before they left! Thankfully more showed later in the day and we ended up with some very competitive 3 on 3 battles! It was actually more successful then I thought it would be and I like black Friday, because what else do us guys have to do on this day unless we are out of town with relatives! I will see if the guys want to make this an annual event? Here are a few pictures of the battle field and notice the old wooden bridge, if you drive into it or over it too rough, it will break apart like a real old wooden plank bridge would do!
