A 1/16 sherman? lol i bet that would look real cute parked next to a tiger.. might be cool to use as target practice for the Tigers

I wonder if the scale will be proper.. It should be dwarfed by a Tiger 1 of the same scale..

Hi Blitz,

WOW! Thats a great looking tank!

I was hoping they design a "Welded Hull" version but the cast hull looks great!

Looks like it also has Full Function VVSS suspension.. THIS ROCKS!

My dillema is... [] Vstank is also coming out with 1/24 M4 Sherman, Now how can I justify to my wife
having both in different scales sizes? That would blow her minds out if she finds out![X(]

Oh BS! Everyone has a computer so I really doubt someone saw it first. Heck, I saw it days ago before this thread!

It looks fairly good, an M4A1 76W. Too bad it's not an A3. Tracks look like rubber bands.

Hey Don't be a hater man, the Wright brothers may not have flown first,,, but they documented it first! I just did not want to be Chumpy and make it look like I found it myself thats all!

This is awesome, there is a ton we can do with this tank even with rubber tracks, there are plenty of tracks and drive sprockets out there!

Now, play nice. No one's hatin' 'round here, just statin' a fact, jack!

Myself, I need 3 of them right now! One as is and the other two so I can salvage the suspension off of them.

Those aren't rubber band tracks, fully linked, just like the real thing. Now, are they metal AND plastic? Metal end connectors with rubber track blocks? That would be cool!

so the release date of the sherman isn't know yet? I wonder what Mato Toys has for a display room? I'm only a little over an hour away from them, I wonder if they accept walk ins? lol

You might be right. I didn't see any shiny pins on the side, but maybe they've been painted. After zooming in on one of the pictures it does appear some paint has wore off the track pads and something silver is showing through.

Hope they are metal or hard plastic. I see a need for some duck billed end connectors.

The Iron Dahlia just gave me the nod...!!! The M4 as shown in the "teaser" looks like it was copied right down to that "wraparound" cable directly from the Full Color Plate of Lt. T. Wialrowski 's M4A1 in Osprey/New Vanguard's "The Sherman Medium Tank, 1942-45"........

I was thinkin' Lafayette Pool's "In The Mood" myself! Looks like one of the first M4A1(76)Ws shipped to the ETO, there's no threaded cover for the future muzzle brake.

Except for the track type, you're right.

You guys can thank me now if you'd like. Less then two weeks after I complete my VVSS Sherman, Heng Long annouces this.

Great looking tank. Will make a nice Firefly. Looks like separate tools as well. Each release just gets better.

Way to go Heng Long. A Sherman that every one wants. I'll be buying multiple units

So are they affiliated with HL?

Main cannon barrel looks "weird" to me, too large in diameter. I would have thought this wouldn't have enough room to be an airsoft tank and would be an IR tank...but maybe they squeezed it in somehow, or else it's the photo.

The Vs tanks have a smaller airsoft unit, maybe they're using something like that.

Maybe it's Oddball's tank with the increased barrel diameter

If the suspension is functional and holds up to outdoor use.. then it is the closest thing we have... I am in heaven!!!!!

Lots of conversions will be made... this will open the floodgates to the ALLIES VICTORY at TEXAS ARMOR BATTLES in the FUTURE!!!!!!
