You might want ot take this up with paypal some more. Mato's policy on no returns on electronics is clear, but for them not to send you a gearbox you paid for is really unusual. I am afraid the call to Paypal my have disrupted the whole transaction process. Could be Mato never received payment, and if that is the case then you will never see your gearbox. I would get confirmation of the payment status from Paypal to Mato. Once confrimed that Paypal released all the funds to Mato for this transaction, then just forward that on to Mato and ask for an explanation as to why you have not received the metal gearbox.

When did CS say they shipped the gearboxes? Did you get pictures of the TK-RX18 yet? Was the box wet or show signs of water damage?

The RX18 was not wet...the transmitter had water stains and corrosion...
