Getting back on topic, I'd like to see an A model. Always prefer the earliest or intermediate versions of something, not the ultimate designs. Am I in the minority according the what the manufacturers have been putting out?
an A would be nice to see,

Grompix scratchbuild a Panther A here: http://www.rctankwarfare.com/Forums/...ic,1531.0.html

cheers,

Matt

Yeah and really, that was what my whole reply was all about. Since the late G was already out, an A or D would have been great and highly sought after by everyone.

DML is putting out 1/35th model kits with zimm already molded in. Who's going to be the first to do it in 1/16th?

Actually, I would think it would not be too hard to give the appearence of a D or A simply by moding the hull sides. I know it would not be the correct angle, but then many of the tanks by HL and Tam are not totally correct. Might try it on one of my Panthers laying around in the build line.
How much interest would there be if someone was to make the "letter flap" drivers glacis hatch, or the early D letter flap MG sponson....at a quite reasonable price?
