KT METAL GEAR UPGRADE
I have my King Tiger stripped down and I wanted to install metal gears in place of the Plastic gear box that came with the KT. I test fit them but I found that the mounting support tubes don't line up with the metal gears mounting holes. Any suggestions as to how I can resolve this? [&o][]

RE: KT METAL GEAR UPGRADE
Snowtank The way I handle switching a gearbox is to first to cut out all the mounting post & stuff in the engine compartment. Then I buy a piece of brass at ace hardware (4x6x1/8) and drill holes for the mounting screws in the right places. Then I run small bolts up from the bottom of the brass plate these bolts will go thru the mounting holes in the gearbox. Then I attach this assembly to the bottom of the tank with epoxy resin and screws or bolts. This really stiffens up the front of the tank and you can "slot out" the mounting holes on the gearbox to get a little adjustment on the tracks.
