Now there is something we have been waiting for for a long time!!!!!! Maybe Mato should package up the VVSS and sell them. I am sure they would sell well

Hey Joe. Very clear pictures of the process - they'll help a lot when I try and do the same thing. Thank you very much.

In the final picture, it looks like you're using the metal Tamiya sprocket, (maybe narrowed somehow)? Also. you mounted 5-spoke, open bogie wheels to the bogie units, (which do appear to be smaller than the oversized Mato wheels). Are these from a 1/18th scale Sherman, or did you get them from somewhere else?

narrowed tamiya sprockets from a sherman remachined to the correct width the boggies are 1/18 with 1/16 tires i machined the plastic tires of to the diamiter to fit the 1/16 tires i had and the wheels are now the corect size

Instead of Tamto, shouldn't it be Tamato?

Are those bogie wheels the Tamiya wheels. They look like the same color as the Tamiya hull and they look smaller and more too scale in these photos. Second question , can you buy just the Tamiya bogie wheels by themselves?

OOOps , disregard, my questions where answered a little earlier in the post, But I still wonder if the Tamy bogies would be a better fit.

I never saw this thread before. That is a first class gear box, and cover. Superb.
