Default Jagdtiger Tamiya 1/16

Any thoughts how you can build the cannonholder for this beast so when use the jagdpanther recoil unit of tamiya with several FO uses so the canon acts like the real one

Do you mean the recoil system? You want fast recoil and slow return to battery (forward position)?

It's got a Tamiya King Tiger Recoil assembly installed, mounted with the Tamiya King Tiger recoil stay. As for the trunnion assembly, I used the trunnion out of Tamiya's Jagdpanther kit, and mounted it on two aluminum plates that I fabricated out of some aluminum stock. The servos were some leftovers from a Spektrum Dx6 radio I had. I used camera positioner switches from Dionysis Design to slow the servo speed to a crawl, and to hold the servos in place when the tx sticks went back to the center position. I wired up the servo's using the information from H.E.A.T. 's (tank club here in the US) website.

It is pretty durable. I've been battling it about 1 1/2 years now, with no malfunctions or breakdowns.

Here is the Wecohe Jagdtiger main gun system. It uses the Taimya Tiger 1 recoild system, and this one has been modified with the Wecohe prototypical recoil system. The recoil system takes a little work to make it correct in that all the parts must line very straight so the unit will not bind.

God damn you, Karel!

When I saw your topic I thought it was about Tamiya releasing JT in 1/16 scale.
