Default 1/16 Jagdpanther (HL/Tamiya)

Just finished my Jagdpanther. HL top and Tamiya bottom. It has metal tracks with steel gears (I think I will upgrade to the 3/1 gears from Matorro to get a more realistic drive) It has an upgraded airsoft canon and a laser sight. I will post a video in a bit.

Hi, Will the Matorro 3/1 gearbox fit ? The Jagdpanthers low front profile made it impossible for me to install Schumo gear-down units to my Tamiya's stock gearbox. I eventually resorted to impactupgrades' low-profile geared-down gearbox designed for the Jagd.

The barrel is an old graphite fishing rod

The lower gear ratio sure makes them move nice.

it does. I still like the Matorro 3:1 better. They provide a real smooth ride over the other gear reduction units I've tried.

Do you guys know what motors are in the Mattoro boxes. I heard they are not the same as what HL uses. Higher speed? more torque straight out the box?

they do seem to provide the best of both worlds (speed and power) especially when combined with the RX 18 board
