RE: Mato sherman (cooked board?)
That is too bad. I have yet to have one behave like that. This board I sent you worked perfectly, before I yanked it out. Maybe the hesitation is a bit of a range problem????
Sometimes the wires to the motors are in close promiity of each other. Perhaps you have a temporary short across the motor leads????
IF you have a heng long radio, all you need to do is buy and RX 14(Sherman sounds)and reciever. For $22.00 you can have this running like a Heng Long.

I'm almost positive its not the board, as i stated in previous post that the tank runs fine with the top hull and turret removed.
The tank does have bad range at only 18' but that's not the issue.
Where do you recommend the cheapest place to buy parts is? "Mato"...
thx

Could it be a thermal issue? Or a Capacitor discharging?

are these issues related to the main board?

Well, just going to mention i finally fixed the hesitation. The tank now can run for as long as i want without hesitation.
This was a heat issue, and was resolved by moving the board to the back of the tank and adding a fan.
Now i need to get the range issue fixed as i only get 15-18 feet.[sm=confused.gif]

RE: Mato sherman (cooked board?)
I'm brand new to R/C tanks. I have a used Mato Sherman. It did not come with the original transmitter so I purchased a Sender radio control box and appropriately assigned crystals. The lights constantly flash when I turn on the tank power. The tank will not start nor run. Here is a picture of the connections. This is how the wire connections were set when I received the tank. It does not have a smoke generator so I imagine that's why I have open plugs. The tank front is at the top of the picture. The 2 red wires at the lower right of the brown board are the speaker wires. The yellow wires lead to the speaker volume control. Is anyone able to me tell if I have any wires out of place? Thanks!
