My most challenging project was a Panther A out of the Heng long Pantiger.

And of course my TaMato Sherman Firefly

YHR,
Did you do a build thread on the pantiger? I am still concidering finishing mine any help would be greatly appreciated.
Guys, you have all posted some fantastic looking tanks. I guess I need to move from just painting H an L's and start doing some serious work to compete with you all.

RE: Pics of your proudest build!!
This is my proudest - and only - build so far. Crusader III. I apologize that I have posted this before, but I think it's still worthwhile seeing.
This was built off of the WSN T-34... basically, it was a rebuild from the hull up. Frankly, I'm astonished that no one has come out with any British armour.
I've been fiddling with something on the Panzer 38(t) chassis (a Marder 3) but it's really a headache. I am serioiusly tempted to get another T-34 and kitbash and earlier Crusader, a Covenanter or pick up one of those Dragon 1/16 Wittman posing with a Cromwell Turret and kit out a nice Cromwell. Having learned what to do on the Crusader, I could probably have that up and running by the Spring. Certainly, it would be a less complicated build.
Enjoy...

Ooooooooh, they're there all right.
Several hundred of them at least. All cut from Plastruct hex rod.
For whoever's interested, here's the build thread.

If you use hex rod, doesn't that make a bolt head or maybe a nut?

Question #2. Was the Crusader riveted together, or bolted together?
I finally found some good close up photos of the Crusader at Jacques Littlefields facility and I was amazed at the hex head shape on the hardware. I never noticed that detail. But then again, I never had much interest in British tanks until now. So tell me ..... are those hex head goodies rivets or bolts?

RE: Pics of your proudest build!!
Speaking of rivets this took about 320. My baby has to be the custom Zrinyi I.
It took about 9 months and parts from the Leo and P4 acc. kits to complete.
Definately a labor of love as I really desired to model a truely unique (obscure) subject that is Axis (Hungarian) but not German.
