Default PattonCommander tells all!

Bill did a writeup for my website on a couple tanks. The first about the M-46 General Patton has been published.

If any veterans want to share their experiences and photos taken while serving in any era, please PM me.

Thanks again Bill!

Bill has also done write-ups on the M-41, but he has no personal pics. Anyone out there have pics of the Bulldog in the field that I can use?

Ron, M-41 photos scanned and on the way to you, along with reference and contacts for auth. Unfortunetely, when I was in a '41, I had no camera. That I regret dearly and I advise all young soldiers I meet at Ft Jackson to carry a camera and take photos of all the equipment they use. Now, it's new....but 20+ yrs down the road, it's nice to show people that "old antique stuff" you used to use.

I don't have field pictures, but here's some scans from a reference book that I uploaded: http://home.comcast.net/~ptweed08/site/

Great reference ///best I have ever seen. A bit too much on the experimental stuff that never would have made it, but a very fine site that brings back memories.

Still very much regret not being mature enough at that age, to have a camera. My M-41 was the earlier with the black handwheel for turret traverse....never did like it. The A3 hudraulic system was much better. Thanks for posting.

Need some more vets willing to share their stories and pictures. Doesn't have to be a vehicle history, just your experiences. I'm sure there are some guys that played in the sandbox around here.
