Hey Jimmy: Where did the metal parts come from in the picture? Are you wanting to make a new Jp IV/70 or finish that model? How do you plan to make the barrel move with internal mechanisms? What about recoil? PP

Yeah those were for the 1/15th Bandai version. I still have not finished mine yet....am stuck on how to make the barrel move in all directions and recoil.......hence the question about how you plan to solve the problem.

Make a brass barrel tube and mount mounted on a u shaped metal bracket that is bolted on a peace flat stock . Take a servo with the board removed have that move the barrel left to right and use ether the Tamiya or HL barrel elevation mech to elevate barrel .

Or one other way is use the Asiatam elevation and recoil unit for the Panzer III / Stug its all in one then have it mounted on a bracket and move left to right by a servo .
On the other hand some have been having problems with this recoil unit mite be better to just mod a HL unit and make it work .

I cheated and bought the Tank-Modelbau.de barrel . The attachement to the hull will still be a challenge, but at least the recoil is taken care of.

That's kind of how I was looking at it then make a recoil mount add a u shaped peace of metal on a pivot for left to right movement by a servo .
The only problem is its a small area for elevation movement would have to put electronics all in rear .
This is were its at at this time .

Make them out of wood Jimmy. Balsa carves and shapes really well plus picking up a 1/35 kit can help you get the size and shape correct.

I got the 1/35 kit it came with the Jagdpanzer IV L/70/V yes could do it that way but am still looking to see if maybe some one out there makes one in plastic .
Or could try one with milliput would be nice if some one had a mold .
