Yes - welcome!!!

Any types of motors and gears.

It differs from RC Tank Battles but it is very useful to develop your RC Tank Driver skills.

You have to run the distance - 200 meters... on off road

If smith happens with your tank while running to no approach or touch allowed
You have to get out of all problems only with RC

Main point is - to get through the check points and make all turns...

Our next survival race will be next year. If you gonna to participate - welcome, we could arrange visa support, advise hotels for the stay and pick-up drop-off service.

I liked how the course was setup to really test the automotive capabilities of the tanks. Without being over the top. There wes uneven ground, soft dirt and sand, hills, narrow lanes, and obstacles. It looked from the video, that it wasn't all about what tank was fastest.

I also liked the idea of a prize at the end.

Pretty awesome. We've done our version of "tank olympics" with one tank at a time going through a course with fixed targets you have to hit along the way and best time wins with misses on the fixed targets
as time penalties. Loved watching the start en masse!

Ummmm ....wait, what? This was at the Kubinka Museum?

I thought the Kubinka disliked modelers? Their website used to say model builders were the worst offenders by disobeying their rules.... I wanna go!

So do they have a permanent battlefield now? Or was this just setup for something?

And running RC tanks with the aroma of all that armor around (like at Danville) would be pretty cool too.

The museum is slowly moving to the Patriot park, which is about 8 km closer to Moscow than Kubinka. Some vehicles are already there.

I do not know where they will be stored during winter. But the trend is here. More and more vehicles appear in the Patriot park. The last change I noticed in Kubinka is that the armoured train disappeared.
I think a chance to witness the Kubinka Museum as it existed for many decades will be next year or a bit longer. So hurry up!
Tickets to the Museum are also valid for the Patriot park.
Come from May to September. Best time to visit!

Hey, RC TANK FELLOWS!

So Hobby-Expo'2015 (winter) is over. Our Colleagues from Latvia were with us: Jury and Eddy thanks a lot for your help and presence, it was great with you at ours. Hope you came back safely.

We had a lot of fantastic activities: installations challenge (day 1), parquet rctanks troophy (day 2), rc tanks duels and battles (day 3)...

Besides we had a demo booth-island where you could see Soviet and Russian Tanks Models including T-90 by Heng Long.

All photos are here - https://www.facebook.com/Танковый-Кл.../photos_stream

and some are attached.

One of the greater disappointments of late is I did not make it to the meet. I was scheduled to go but things just did not work out. I'll be there in spring for sure. Looks like everyone had a grand time and there's some fine tanks up there.

Thank you, Yevgenyi! I will make it up in spring, probably by train with Ye'lean'chka. I'll schedule for a meet and we'll bring a couple odds and ends including the T34/76.
