Before you apply body filler use some CA glue (krazy Glue or what ever you call it in England) in the crack and in some cases the glue could be used as filler as well, then you treat it like any time you would glue plastic together, filler, sand smooth and then prime and then paint. Easy stuff.

A technique I have used for cracks is to drill each side of the crack to keep it from getting bigger.
Then I use a#11 blade to scape the sides of the crack into a V shape. Then apply a bead of CA and sprinkle that with some baking soda. Repeat as needed, then sand and finish.
Hope that helps!

I have never heard of using baking soda acts as a filler does it? The drilling ofa hole makeassense. You could also usesolvent cement that will weld the plastic together an then CA and baking soda.
