1/16 All Metal Merkava!
Well, guys....
I have to have a match up to my Leo and I stumbled onto this site by chance that has created a 1/16 Merkava....the price is to good to be true, so I'm writing that off for now. Unfortunately, I can't seem to contact the maker(s) on this site, but I did find him on Youtube. If I get more info, I'll get back with you guys on it!

Nope, no luck at all. I did send a message to him on Youtube and wrote on their board. But.....All I can do is hope they reply. Looks like the site is really new and there may possibly be some site restrictions for those of us on the other side of the water. We'll see.
Here's his demo on the tube......admire the giddy up on that! They too use 540's like my Leo!

If anyone finds any other means to contact them, please, please do share. Seriously, don't be a hoarder...no one likes a hoarder! lol
I just want the tank and all things to make it funciontion minus the RX/TX/ESC so I can use the Leopard DMD/T07......I mean, if it doesn't reflect a huge cost difference then I'll take it in it's entirety but that's my initial aim, to use the tam electronics so it will be battle ready with sounds.

Well, taking another look at the site, the price has now jumped to $2,100. Pretty much puts me out of the market. Still no connection with the contact or buy now links.

Aww man....instantly crushed any dreams of owning one.....I refuse to drop that kind of loot on a single 1/16 scale. That's several hundreds away from a 1/8 scale....forget it. I'll just stick with the plans of getting a 1/8 later.

To quote their mission statement.............
"Our mission is “Enjoyable Life” and “Reasonable Price”
Well, the fact that we all have different ideas of what's reasonable has become evident......I can only hope Chunwai makes one at their 1200 dollar price tag.

lol!! Yeah, I knew that wasn't the correct price. If it were at the very least 1200 with shipping...I was prepard to buy...but, oh well. Maybe one day tamiya or HL will make this. I doubt it will be HL, but who knows?

edit: Nope, the blue button still doesn't work. Yeah, it takes you to submit query, but you still can't submit either.

That IDF M41 is so sick. I'll be getting that eventually too, but I need to focus on my new additions, lol. Looking forward to seeing the new mods to it!

May I ask about DMD T-07 electronics? - as i know in Tamiya Leo 2 there is special gearbox - one motor is dedicated for moving the thank forward and backward / transmitter stick forward and backward/ , the second for moving left and right only / transmitter stick left and right/
So do You plan to use Leo 2 gearbox in Your tank? or maybe is it possible to configure DMD T-07 - to operate with standard gearbox and with standard transmitter stick positions?

RE: 1/16 All Metal Merkava!
i had ask the price for the Bradley ready for 70%, they are busy on it would be for the metal one 1800$ all in with transmitter etc, batteries and full metal jacket, lateron they bring out kits with metal underwear and plastic upperbody the prices would be like tamiya i think.
They are busy on a metal Famo 18T ready 30% a real beaty, this one i gonna buy if i get it in kit
The kits would have be metal tracks and stuff all in we wait and see, for the T80 and bradley the kits comes next year the other stuff who knows they are not ready yes
They also busy a US0.50 cal gun, with seperate amunition etc ... belts ... when who knows, good for sherman and pershing turrets very detailed too
investigate their site tony you will find foto's of the stuff i spoke of

Nice looking Bulldog...need to fix the driver's periscopes, though. [8D]
If they could just make the metal tanks into airsoft tanks as an option.

RE: 1/16 All Metal Merkava!
Hi Tony, nice find but it says on their site they may do an injection plastic version of the Merkava so hopefully it will be more affordable.......... from their site-
I were asked for any plan for RC Merkava tank plastic model from many people, after the RC Merkava tank metal model has been completed. Therefore, I made the plan to make the injection mold for RC Merkava tank plastic model. Finaly I would like to make great RC Merkava tank plastic model with low cost through the knowledage obtained during maing Merkava tank metal model. The completion of the injection model will be completed the end of this year.
Your interest is always welcome.
Many thanks
Cheers Ian

RE: 1/16 All Metal Merkava!
I hope that's true. I would really love to have one, that's the modern tank that has intrigued me the most and the second being the Challenger 2....but the Leo will do the job for now.
