Well guys, it sucks having less time to indulge in this hobby or participate in the forums, but trying to collect as much money as I can is the new objective!<div></div><div>So far, not doing so well. Especially after today.</div><div></div><div>I spent more time fiddling with the new limited paint "Green With Envy" SRT8 Challenger we got in today than I did helping customers. Ah well, maybe I can persuade the sales manager to get it out of the show room so I can finally get some work done!</div><div></div><div>http://i774.photobucket.com/albums/y...akin1/srt8.jpg</div>

So, BiggTony,  how is your Leo build going?  I'm stuck at step 12 with no Tamiya paint in western Colorado to be had.<div>
</div><div>My project is over, 2 years building a log cabin, now I have no work at all.  I bought myself a Leo as a bonus for all my hard work, and now I have time to build it and no paint to complete it.  I'm sure by the time I can get paint I will ether have more work or be so broke that the Leo will just have to wait.  Such is life.</div>

Step 12? At the road wheel assembly?

Meh, just keep going! Paint it later. That's what I did atleast. As for the leo being finished.....nope! I'm exactly where I left off in my build thread....actually, a couple steps backwards. While Tamiya is suposedly known for quality, well apparently the Leo puts Tammy to the test. I guess the speed of the Leo is so great that the sprockets came appart. So I actually had to epoxy glue them back together. It was kind of funny though. One minute, the Leo is racing through my living room, weaving around obstacles, then like cheap hub caps, two halves of the sprockets went flying in opposite directions! lol

I'm hoping to get back to them this weekend since this will be the first 2 day weekend I've had in 4-5 months. Hooray!

____________

Thanks Airbrushler! I wish I could say it were mine, but at 50K....I don't think so. lol

Well the Leo I'm doing is not in NATO so perhaps I can use other colors and skip the NATO green.

Hi all,
Haven't really done much tank building lately, but I have been up to my neck in silicon and resin, scratchbuilding British tank crews for the firefly owners in a club I'm in this side of the pond. Here's a selection of some that I've done.

Wow, those are nice figures.  Can you mass produce them or are they one of a kind?

So I would not post a new thread for this as it is not RC, but it is cool and this Lounge is a perfect place to show it off.

I saw this box at a yard sale last week and had to have it for my tank shelf. An explosives box from Oct. 4, 1943. We bought some other stuff so in the end she gave it to me for FREE cause it was in such bad shape. I love it as is.

Spend Canada Day with the In-laws building a swing set for my girls. Now to get back to something more simplier, like building tanking, since the the in-laws are heading back to the east coast, yeah.http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...eeth_smile.gif

Country living.....

A fantastic summer day...........

Have not raised any chickens for many years...........Fun to have them again and be able to watch the baby chicks grow.

8 hours of grass mowing every week but it's like having your own park.Hit a few golf balls and have my own flying field for RC planes.....;)

Have a safe and fun 4-Th of July

BIGMIG ;)

This area is for fun and general chit-chat

Living in SW washington state as one can see it's "green",and lots of trees. This has been a very wet year up till now and trying to keep up with the mowing is a real challenge as the grass grows very well even in the wet weather when you can't cut it.

Although i'm retired, still work for my Son on milling machines and Lathes. Can work as much or as little as i chose.During the summer months there is always something to do when you live in the country.

BIGMIG ;)
