It's been a while since I updated this build, but I have been working on it.
I'm almost finished with the roof and engine deck...a couple of welds and mounting the cleaning rod/antenna tube will finish that up.
Here are pics of what I've finished to this point:

I didn't like the aluminum sticker for the front of the hull, so it was replaced with an aluminum plate.
It also acts as stop for the front of the upper hull, flame cuts and welds added.

Nice work.

I used the sticker as I felt it was rock solid. :D

The crew hatch stops are made from brass with rubber bumpers.
I used a leather punch and a large rubber washer to make the bumperswith 1mm bolts in the center.

The armor guard for the roof vent fan is the stock part with some styrene strips and Mr. Surfacer 500 for texture.

Thanks for sharing. :-) I need to finish off the roof before going to the engine deck. Any camo in mind yet ?

Oh, and those lifting hooks on the engine deck, wich kit do they come in ? I have the roof/engine deck detail set wich contains those small wire holders/hooks around the vents.

do you have any video clips/pic's of that elmod JP you have ?

The camo pattern I have in mind is from the 654th, 3 color.
The lifting hooks are from RCTank.de, not in a kit they are sold individually:

You happy with the elmod ? I have a tiger wich need some elecktroniks, and a su76i kit later on witch needs the same.

Thanks for the link, Domeniq is a good friendly tanker :-)

I'm very happy with the ElMod, you can fine tune almost every level of the tanks performance.

Well, Jimmy, I've sat here and watched this build for rather a few months now, and kept my phat mouth shut. However, now's the time to speak. Your work is nothing short of brilliant. Excellent attention to detail, right down to the door stops. It is obvious you are doing your research and doing it well. I am quite impressed with this build. And you are giving me ideas. Grin. Winter is coming, ya know!

Finished a couple of things yesterday.
Sealed in the rear stowage boxes ( had hollow backs ) and the original switch hole under the right stowage box.
Fabricated the rear reflector and finished the bracket to mount the cleaning rod tube on the back deck.</p>
