It's hard to get good photos, but you get the idea, I like things used and abused.

Every part of stowage and equipment is wired in place, the Schurzen are removeable if struck, but will stay in place otherwise.

It's a plastic Heng Long StuG III G with some mods:

Aluminum reinforced hull.
Metal gears with Promaxx 400s
Bearings in the final drives.
Return roller height corrected.
Waffle zim with ApoxieSculpt (went for field applied look, although I'm not certain waffle was ever field applied)
Brass schurzen and frame (measured off of Voyager's 1/35 PE kit)
Adjustable idlers and metal tracks.
Servo traverse with HL elevation.
Correct recoil movement ala Dan's mod.
DBC RC3 with Spektrum TX/RX
Benedini TBS mini and 6W amp.
Visation speaker.
DBU is in the cupola, you can see the grey/black lenses in the periscopes, those are IR filters.
The emitter is in the mantlet where the bolt is missing. That battle damage is from photos of an actual Tiger.
The Notek and convoy light both function.
Stowage and gear is all leftovers from other builds, etc.
Mud is both Aves and actual dirt in acrylic.
The inside hub tub is sealed and technically speaking waterproof, but I have no intention of finding out.

Thanks Herman, she runs like a top until the second or third hit, then she's a real pig. No issues in grass or terrain. I used to get slaughtered by my son until I turned the DBU 45 degrees. That gave me a chance to work out some tactics. ;)

Man that Stug looks incredible! All the detail and weathering you have done looks amazing.  I know you spent a lot of time and effort on that tank and it paid off.  Great job!

This has to be (and I have seen a bunch) THEE best looking StuG!! It is model quality and filled with details you would see on static models like in the 1/35 scale.

I only worked on it a bit at a time, at this point I just want to get it off the bench so I can have room. I'm happy with it, it's meant to be a battler, so no super deatiling was really done, no PE, just piling on leftovers.

So much has changed over the time I was building it, the four tarps are just there to hide stuff.

This was my attempt at a Tamiya quality conversion with HL. I'm glad I did it, but I don't think I want to do it again. ;)

I'm a 1/35 builder at heart, just haven't touched the stuff for a few years, so this gave me my fix even though it was a trade off. I learned with my first Tammy Tiger I, PE is not long for the RC world, that's why you could lift the upper hull of this with any detail there, it's wired and epoxied in place. The Schurzen is actual the upper's stand. :)

Really looks good Ausf!!! The battle damage is great. Love the weathering. It looks used but not overly abused. Glad you posted the photos. I plan on adding schurzen to my Stug as well and have the same plan in mind, just scale up the 1/35 PE set.

Rudy, I had the Voyager set sitting around, no need to reinvent the wheel. Some K & S brass, a micrometer and a scaling app for the iPod and it was relatively painless (except for the really hot soldering iron, that was painful). ;)

WhiteTiger, there's only two items on that whole build that isn't wired and apoxied in place (the single track link and the barbed wire roll). You could lift the upper by the canteen, mess kit or helmets. The tow cables are wired down in multiple spots along the length, that's what all the mud, hay and cloths are about, hiding things.

I learned long ago with my first crack at the Tammy Tiger, no point in spending time on making a 15 piece smoke grenade holder or S mine, it won't last. I lost two headlights in battle from the same side, with PE holders and 'Bosch' symbol. If you look close, all the tools on this are ex-Tiger pieces.

A black and white photo of your model, taken under the right lighting conditions, could pass as a photo of the real thing at the end of WWII. The weathering, battle damage and everything else about it is amazing. [X(]

Love the look of this one, the hit's on the side plates and the splash on the mantlet is super, mud and paint job too.

Sollie, the mantlet gouge and splash was something I saw a few years back on a Tiger. I came across all types of hits were bolts were sheared off and I needed somewhere to hide the IR emitter.

The Schurzen hit was an afterthought, I just hammered two nails into it when I was doing the final weathering.

The mud is mostly to hide things: connection points, gaps on the final drive covers, screw heads on the suspension, etc. That's what I love about building armor, if you screw something up, put mud, hay or a tarp on it. ;)
