A New Way to Battle...

2 Attachment(s)
Jake from the A.C.E. RC Tank Club developed a new scenario-based way to battle.
It is called Rolling Thunder Campaign Battles, and adds increased complexity, teamwork, and realism.
It describes use with the Tamiya Battle System, but it could be adapted to work with any IR system.
We will be running this at the March Battles (13 -15th) at the AAF Tank Museum in Danville.
I also posted this in the running thread for the battle day.

Click on the .jpg, and when it opens in another window, click on it again.

You should be able to zoom in to read.

Also, you should be able to download and print the 11 x 17 .pdf.

I hope to see you at the event!

Thanks Dave for coming up with this Document to better explain the RT guidelines/rules for battle scenario's.

I like it. I think is a great idea with rules where each team member will be working with each other to achieve there victory.by using this method with the rules using co and xo and the rest of the chain of command fuel replenishing, air strikes, damaged vehicles, bridges, mine fields etc. I believe this will help to create a better interest in the hobby when others see the realism in the battles.

We ran this at danville the last time I was there and it was a lot of fun.... Other than the arty strike on my stug IV ...BRETT! no I haven't forgotten:p. If you have enough tankers it's a blast and confusing at the same time. But way more fun the side versus side. One has to think and actually make decisions while battling:rolleyes:
