Armortek Sd Kfz 251 For Sale in Michigan
 

I just saw an Armortek Sd Kfz 251 halftrack for sale in Michigan. It has the wiring and drive motors, also a main gun kit from FOA to mount. You can check it out on the Armortek 'Sale and Wanted' site. The seller provides his email to contact.

Any idea what it went for new? He doesn't list an asking price, and that always makes me suspicious.

My SWAG would be $3500-4000 for the static kit? Then add the 'Motion Pack' (drive motors & ESCs) about another $1500? I don't know.

He sez 'price negotiable' so if he needs to sell it he might be open for an offer. I JUST sent the seller a PM to find out any more info and I'll pass it along.

Thanks, Mike. I tried to register at the armortek forum when they changed owners but for some reason it didn't take. Did the 251 go for more or less than the Famo? The Famo is the one I really want, and I already have an Sd Kfz 250 waiting to be RCed, but if the price is right, one never knows what kind of crazy crap I'll do next!!

OOHHH, that Famo is BIG and PRICEY!!! That Famo is the price of a large (Kt, T1,) tank.

Since the 251 is smaller it would probably be a in the price range (new from Armortek) I mentioned. Soon as I find out anything from the seller I'll put it on here.

I just received a PM back. His original Armortek invoice for the 251, motors, ESC, & shipping is $4847 USD so that's the total he's got in it.

He lives about 1.5 hours outside Detroit over by Richmond so if buy it you can figure the shipping costs. If anyone is interested PM me and I'll give you his email address.

I'm fairly sure he won't want to split it up, and I wouldn't want the motor pack or the 75mm gun.

I think I'll hold out for a PIII or PIV. ;)
