Default OFNA Nexx 8t Truggy

Saw this released recently. I've been looking for a good 1/8 truggy to do some bashing and I've had great success with OFNA in the past.

Problem is, i can't find any literature/reviews/videos about the car (aside from the manufacturers specs sheet).

Has anyone seen anyone talking about it on other forums or anything? Google is bringing up nothing.

Thanks for any help!

Other than being an OFNA with a Proline Bulldog body, it doesn't bring anything new to the table. Yawnnn

+1, it's sort of a re-release of the Jammin x2 crt I believe. Some modifications, but basically the same, alot of the parts are interchangeable.

Well, yes and no.. It does bring back a decent, affordable basher RTR truggy that is far cheaper and simpler to get up and running than most of the race kits... The RTR truggy range is pretty sparse.. So it's a good addition to the market IMO.. (or re-addition, or whatever..)

I agree it fills a perfect niche for those that want a good quality durable basher truggy (it's what I spend the majority of my wheeltime doing lately, bashing 6S 1/8th models) and don't want to pay Mugen prices. I will also be after one asap.

Cool. The one I talk about is one I saw at a local guy , he had imported a few buggy's and had one E vers. of the truggy also . Boxart was With the Fuel v. but inside was the car With 2200kv and 90 amp esc. Not a bad price , going to use it at a lockal track and just for fun

thanks for the photos. any Upgrades ? I'm thinking chassie braces first, since they come in plastic.

Hey Sollie, I've got a 10th- or 12th-scale version of that truggy. (Well, sort of. Same archecture only smaller, and made by Ofna's other maker, HoBao) The Hyper 10TT. Great little ripper, but yeah, the stock bumpers are kinda useless for actually protecting the vehicle. Thought I'd bought a lemon, I was breaking so many suspension arms. But then I installed a T-Bone Racing front and rear bumper set and now I rarely break anything. Bolt-on additions, they even provide appropriately longer screws, as you leave the stockers in place. I also got them for my Ofna/HoBao Hyper 10SC short course truck. Most RTR bumpers suck. After-market, man!

Found a front bumper at T-Bone. But no REAR bumper? Hmm.. You might email them and ask if they have one that would work for the rear. They just might.

Running my brushless x2 crt kit version truggy for over a year,
then converted it to nitro,

kept the brushless kit so i can change back if the notion takes me,

i have been been running it hard through its second nitro engine and so far only thing to break
was the front bumper support on a bad 10+ feet high jump into a hard nose landing,

these truggies although highly affordable can hang with the best in terms of durability,

Ive heard that Hobao are taking on all the ofna branded rc's,

over in ireland and and Europe ofna is branded as hobao,

so these truggies and parts aren't gonna be running short on supply any time soon!
