Default 1/8 TRUGGY 6S ESC/MOTOR ?

I have a Hyper ST Pro and wanna convert it to 6S Lithium Ferite but don'y know too much about kv ansd turns on motors and what available and what is usable in a 1/8 truggy Seen the teken and castle sytems. I want something i can just hammer around without worrying about temps on 6s I have a good tough car and a DX3S aswell anyhelp would be great. I've been looking at 2050kv 2650kv motors and the rx8 tekin system. BAsically, more kv means more speed but more heat.

Default RE: 1/8 TRUGGY 6S ESC/MOTOR ?

Get the 1700kv truggy system (Tekin). The truggy motor can be used in a buggy, but the other way around isn't recommended, so if you get a truggy in the future, you'll be ready. Gear it low if you don't ever wanna have to worry about temps on 6S. Like a 13 pinion. Either that, or go down significantly in kv, like say 1550, and then gear up. Personally though, I'd go for the 2000kv, probly at about 15 teeth on the pinion, and just give the motor a rest every now and then. Depends what you want, insane speed with a few breaks now and then, or just very fast but no need to slow down.
