I just put my wing on , i had to trim the body bigtime . i wish they would come out with a different body also . but the truck seems to be pretty solid so far. ya a taller wing mount would be nice , does anyone know of a another body that fits ?

You could use some long nylon spacers and longer screws to raise the wing, but I think that would really weaken the wing mount. I'm looking for a new body too. I read that someone had trimmed the front of a buggy body and made it work. Sounds like a possibility but I'd like to see a pic first.

The guys at my track are using Crowd pleasers desgned for the savage and Mugen truggy bodies. I went and looked at some bodies the other day and it looks like an Xciter body would work but the wheelbase makes you move the body forward so much you cover up the bumpers. I also heard of using mayhem buggy bumpers instead of the ST's but I dont care for that because I think the stock ST bumpers give you more protection especially for the A-arms. Without the big bumpers your wheels would take alot of punishment. I actualy like the stock body and have ordered a clear one from Horizon.

But what about when you land on your bumper and it breaks in a race? Or you land on the nose and flip, instead of having the wheels there to pull the rear down?

I looked at the Mugen truggy body at my LHS today. Do you know if it will fit the mayhem ST with a wing. It looks like it might. I may take my truggy to the store and see. Or what about the Savage Crown Pleaser on a Mayhem with wing? Also, how is the Mugem quality compared to Pro-Line?

I hear what your saying Annie but i would rather have that added protection. There were a few guys at my track and i never seen one break a bumper. The mayhem is so quick to act in the air that a quick shot of gas will bring the nose right up. I use 40 series wheels with bowties and my bumper is pretty even with the tires. With a squeeze of the throttle your front tires will balloon causing your front tires to grab. Im no pro but i didnt have a problem with this. Secret to my success this year was landing flat consistently and making adjustments when out of shape.

Hey Ram a guy I know put a Mugen body on his and it looked cool but he still had to do a lot of body cutting. Afew others had the crowd pleasers on theirs and once again did a lot of cutting. As long as the wheel base looks right and the body is wide enough to cover the stone guards it should work but get the scissors out. I will be real happy when Sportwerks brings out a taller wing.

Does any body know if they are going to sell a longer chassi for the mayhem. I have the buggy and think it is great. I would like to convert it to a truggy, but don't like the short wheel base. I would like it to be similar to the hot bodies lightning or the jammin x1-crt in demensions. If there is one available, please let me know where I can get one.

I think they plan to make one but its not out yet. It seems Sportwerks is a little slow coming up with some of the upgrades people are wanting. They need to bring out a longer chassis and wing mount and ill be happy, but one or the other would be nice. Ive seen where people have mad their own but a factory part would be nice.

Savage adapters here too. Hey Ram cool truck. I loved those blue bodies when the came out. I hate the stickers i put on mine. They were proline internal stickers. After i painted them I loved the colors and thought the stickers were poop. LOL

Looks like he used the Mayhem Buggy wing mount(it bolts right up no mods) and the proline wing. I know because thats my setup It works nice. Even though you have to hack the crap out of the body. Ahh, the open rear end kinda looks mean anyway. No big deal.

Nice looking mayhem Ky Mayhem!!! I dig it!!!

EDIT: LOL. I was thinking of Ram Factors MST. HE has the buggy wing mount and proline wing lol

The small wing on the that red and silver body is a piece of lexan i got at my local track. I just drilled the holes and used a couple of screws, washers and lock nuts. I didnt put my buggy mount back on it because im actually getting both of my cars ready for the spring and im praying that sportwerks brings out a longer mount. If they dont i guess ill have to cut my body but im praying. In the mean time im going to try and fabricate a mount using the buggy's mount and some aluminum. When im done ill take a pic and show it. The only thing is that ive seen people try it but they broke so im going to try to make one thats strong but lite. Where is everyone from in here? Im in Kentucky as you may have guessed
