Looks good!

I'm really curious how it drives. I almost bought one the other day when A-Main sent me an e-mail telling me they were in. But I really want to hear what people thing about it first. I like the ST-R alot. So, its going to have to be night and day difference between the two to make me switch....

anybody know what the deal is with the price difference with the prospec kit? trust me when i say that i like a deal, but speedtech nitro runs the prospec kit for 600, 50 cheaper than amain and about 120 less than horizon. anybody know if this is legit, or are they going to get you on shipping or something (like all those ebay deals).

jmac, that's nice man. Have you gotten any runtime on it yet? Just wondering how you like like that C6 in it? I'm still trying to decide between the C6BB and the Ninja. Been stewing on it for 2 weeks and still can't decide. My Prospec ships tomorrow so I got to decide soon! I may just flip a coin, if I can't make up my mind, lol.

100% go with the C6. Have seen some major problems with the Ninja, but I can't go into detail. Trust me.

i really want to "just click it". i guess the last main thing is to see how it compares to the crt pro. they are both priced relatively similar. any ideas on the comparison (prospec vs. the jammin)? i wanted to wait to get some feedback on how it drove and the build before i bought it. the wife and baby are away and i wanted to build it this weekend. you can't beat $600 for a top kit from a top manufacturer.

I likes the look of the mugen(prospec), but being as large as it is I would go with the werks .28 truggy engine.IMO you can always tone power down but its hard to make more.

The mag reviews are so biased its unreal. I've yet to read a review in ANY magazine that said an RC they were testing was junk or was horrible.

They aren't about to lose advertising money. So, they'll take a neutral stand on anything they review. Show me a review where the truck/buggy/car had more "negatives" than "positives". Until I see something like that I don't trust their reviews.....

not necessarily ALL true what you said. Stephen bess raced the new mugen at some club races, one including KZ. he did just fine winning these races witht he new mugen, but then again, its stephen bess driving.

he broke that kit down on RC car magazine, listed everything about it. the only thing i can complain about that kit is its wheel extenders, but again, that alone can give more tuning options, such as taking them off and using 28mm offset rims, or putting them on and using zero offset. that actually creates more stability, but can take away from its steering ability and could create a weak point, causing stress to the bearings and all, but from the looks of things, it doesnt seem to do much harm at all, considering its length to width.

i dont know, for it to be in the same price range as the STR, it has to be considere3d when looking at a new truggy. i like its pivot ball suspension, low centered center gear, spiral cut gears and so on. worth looking into i think.

can someone tell me what the major difference in the standard kit is compared to the prospec because Tower has the standard for only $549.
stormer and a main are $200 more for the prospec, there has to be more differences than just the braces?

You can find the standard for cheaper than that at places other than Tower. Check out speedtechrc.com, amainhobbies.com, and carolinasrc.com. They usually have the best prices on kits.

prospec kit comes with Crimefighter MT's

Bess ran the trugg rather successfully with the Ninja .21 Engine ....

I have the arms, and pbs in my hands ... and this truck is BIG/Wide

Interesting it can be pulled so well with a .21
