one way bearing in the two speed. My engine had a little too much torque for it and it cracked.
owb. i shooda knew dat.

so a 2spd unit uses a difrent diff case & internals? u cant bolt a 2spd spur 2 a standerd.st1 diff & only use 1 speed?

The two speed drops right into the center diff case. You need the two speed clutch bell to run it though. With the LRP Z.28 the speeds are insanely fast. It really isnt for off road though. I lad from a jump on the gas and thats what cracked the bearing. Its only costs about $8 to replace. I just havent had a chance to order a new one.

so whens your next race DS did you get your gear fixed up??? im stuck inbetween the shocks like you got with all the extras for 90.00 or i did some research and it turns out that the ofna lx2 16mm shocks are the same as the jammin 2s and i can get em for about 60.00 shipped so im still deciding what to do but from the input you gave me and you ve already mounted and tested them i might just go with the hyper 9 17mm im just so tired of my suspension letting me down like you said no rebound bottaming out etc...so if anyone is intereted i got 2 sets of front and a set of rear shocks brand new in packages ill let all 6 go for 35.00 and i also got all the stock aluminum towers, servo tray, diff cover new in package ill get rid of as well shoot me an offer cause i got all carbon plus the take offs for backup DS how much travel did you loose front n rear oh and i did email the guy just waiting on a reply
Not much at all, it was just in the front because they are a little shorter. To get ride height I had to mount them on the outer most hole on the arms. I practiced and blew out my clutch bearings lol, seen them fall off down the straight away, car was good near the end of the run, super cold out tho lol

Does anyone know how longer/shorter are the Hyper 9 or LX2 shocks compared to the stock ones on the ST-1?

i think there pretty similar frommy understanding the fronts are a little shorter but i heard you hardly notice but i also heard that either set is a great deal better than stock ans i also read on other sites of pepole using the jammin x2 on there st1 with great success and those are the same shocks as the lx2s and you can get a set of those shippes on ebay for a little less than 60.00 there 16mm big bores nice shocks im trying to get a set of those hyper 9 17mmhaboa im getting a pretty good deal or i would go with the lx2s

I'm waiting for my big bores to arrive. Got the LX2 set.

Also it's been 20 days since I ordered the bulldog body and no sign in county customs or post office.

I would gladly take a look on the LSP but the shipping cost is a deal killer for me.

Hay Kawpow, I have run the same set up on the wheels front and similar mods your thinking of putting on, anyway. The badlands will fit the wheels but it would maybe trim the edging of the foam so the tyres sit better. As for foams a med/firm but that depends on what type of ground you play om.
