These engines only last around 10 gallons? Man this hobby just keeps getting more and more expensive! Where do you think the best place to go is that would have screws that small?

if you would lean her out a little that 10 gallons would be like 20 and 10 gallons last a good while, remember you are turning 30,000 plus rpm's be happy with 10 gal. you can mix your own fuels for about10-12 per gallon but you have to make like 12 gallons at a time since nitro only comes in min 5 gal. incriments, well at least where I am at.

Anyone ever try running Proline MT's in the back and MTR's in the front? I noticed the MT's are a little wider. Seems as though it would work quite well.

Someone asked that question on the LSTforums! I wonder. If you had a problem loosing the rear end I can see it being a solution.

I'm gonna try it. I have a brand new set of Bowtie MT's, and MTR's. I can always throw the crimefighters back on if it handles awful.

You can see how much more sidewall the MT's have.

I dont think that would work too well Darkfae. Technically the heavier tyres on the back will drag more and unload the front wheels to 12 inch dinner plates. It might also work well, worth a try since you already have the tyres

Hey everyone, I was just wondering if a sts .28 would be a drop in for my st-1? someone is offering it to me in a trade, and I was just wondering if its a direct replacement or if not, what parts are needed to make it fit.
thanks
colton

Yup direct drop in. The .28 is not bad. It should be faster then the stock motor in different power ranges. Quality wise the TT .28 is much better built.

Well I picked up a SW v2 and a TT 2035 pipe. Should be a step up from the axial .28. Almost bought the jammin .28 but the GF said I could get the SW plus a pipe or the only the jammin. It should be here tommorow, may break it in this weekend if studying for finals does not get in my way!

I usually run my high speed more lean and low speed more rich so it doesn't have that high pitched idle.

PLEASE tell me these need to be stretched over the wheels or they expand or get aired up or something. I bought badlands and as you can see they are way small, I got the ones for a 1/8 truck. I want to make sure these are the right ones before I open them:

Oh, and I found out where that mysterious screw broke off...maybe I should just super glue it back in, it wont thread because of the broke off part stuck in there.

Thats BS, they were the only ones listed under 1/8 scale in the wheels and tires section. Im not blaming amain, but i've bought 2 ST-1s, accessories for both in less than a week. I ordered the right wheels with this order, didnt they think, I'd better check with him to see if this is what he wanted, these tires wont work with anything he's bought??
