I think it has. They died out very quick. Not many seem to be running them anywhere. Iam gunna bash tomorrow with mine. They are very tuff. Great fun with an os18tz ripping. Id still prefer to bash with a 1/8th scale trug due to the ground clearance.

Has the crt .5 been discontinued?
Has the crt .5 been discontinued?
I remember it being hard to find parts like C-hubs except from ebay chop-shops, then the SCRT came out and it was like BAM parts support, and some aftermarket parts overnight.

I have been wanting to get one of these trucks for I while now and I just came across this deal today. I don't want to spend much money so this looks like I pretty good deal for a kit to mess around with. I will just need to find an engine for it! Thought I would share.

I just picked up 2 of these kits. My son and i are going to put them together. So far so good, but what servos would you guys suggest for this car. I have the servo's that came with my Spektrum radio's, S200(?). Will these work or should i order different ones.

The nylon gears in theSpektrumservoswon't hold up for the steering. Something like this will do.

That is a bargain at $80 a kit from Nitrohouse. They are strong kits. I hammer mine and it doesnt break anything.
I have Hitec 645mg servos in mine, work great. The os18tz i run is bonkers in a crt.5. Keeps flipping even with a wheelie bar.Probably better off with a 12 or 15 size engine.
The only thing is being small you cant bash it on alot of rough ground. I will probably sell mine soon and go back to a 1/8 scale truggy.

Depends on your gearing. The diffs have a 3.25:1 ratio, the stock spur is 46T and the stock clutch bell is 13T. The stock tires are 3.5 inches in diameter. so if your engine is doing 30000 rpm the car is doing 27mph on stock gearing. if you are getting 35000 rpm you will see 31MPH. If the engine manages to get to 40000 you could see 36mph. go to a 18t clutch bell at 35000 rpm you will be doing 43mph.
I have hit 70.2mph (with the GPS) with mine but I am running a Werks B6 .21 and custom gearing.

Ive hardly touched mine over last few months. I miss the 1/8 scale truggy that can bash over rougher ground. I mite go back to 1/8.
Currently i think mine has around a 17 or 18 tooth clutch bell, badlands tyres and an os 18. Cant keep the front end down. I used the stock tyres on the road when i first got it to test it out and they went bald in minutes with the os18.
Did you have to do much to fit the 21 in?
