RE: hot bodies lightning stadium pro-r promlem thread
Dunno, the only think I break on mine is the body mounts. Shocks seem pretty good to me and the mounts are solid 4mm thick and are not exposed like buggy shock towers.
Theres a few aftermarket shock mounts out that might put extra pressure on them. (??)

Only real complaint is the front diff covers, they break/crack fairly easily, the problem of having alloy arms puts a lot of strain on them (some LSP at my club have gone back to using plastic arms). Although they are a cheap part ($10) they take ages to swap over, the entire front end has to be dissassembled, looking at at least 1-2 hours of tedious work to do it.
Other than that its a good Truggy

Lots of subtle differences it would appear from looking on the HB website, the R is the kit version, no engine/electronics and comes with lots of the parts that would be considered hop ups on the Pro RTR. Carbon Fibre radio & centre diff plate, alloy hinge pin holders instead of plastic, clear body, yellow wheels etc.
If you've already got an enigne and radio gear it's no problem, if not you need to budget for these when buying.[8D]
