JR 9000T for steering and the JR 9000S for throttle/brake. I have the 9000T for steering but I'm too cheap to go by the 9000S so I use a JR 650.

ok for throttle all you need is 100+ in/oz
here are some good throttle servos

ACE DS1015 on the steering, DS1013 on the throttle. Best value indestructible servos in my opinion.

Steering is a bit slow for my taste, but yes, that is a fine pair of servos.

For the throttle servo...Which is more important? Torque or Transit...

Depends on your driving style and the size of the car. If you throttle/brake a LOT, a twitchy driver, then you need the speed, to get from full brakes to full throttle as quickly as possible, however if you're smooth this is not as necessary. As for torque, you only need enough to successfully pull the brakes. Since large off road cars generally require crazy steering servos, I try my best to conserve my receiver batteries by installing the lightest servos I can get away with on the throttle/brake. I generally say that .15 transit and 100oz-in or more is enough for all but the largest monster trucks. My personal favourite throttle servo is the Futaba S9451, but the ACE DS1313 is also very nice. The ACE DS1013 I mentioned earlier is a bit overkill to be honest, but the DS1015 is the best servo I've ever used for steering. I swear they are faster AND stronger than spec says. Rest assured, a 1015 will be dropped straight in my truggy whenever I get it.

RE: Getting a mbx5t prospec wat servos???
Im awaiting for my Cen FRE to be delivered at my door hopefully this week...
Where do you guys buy your servos? Is there an online store you guys go to that is less expensive than the major hobby store like say Tower or Horizon? A-main listed the ACE 1015 for $94 bucks.. Any less expensive out there?
Also, would a digital servo work on non-digital AM radio?

I seen a guy at my local track cart wheel, flip, crash his mbx5t 30+ times one night and never broke, the mbx5t is one tuff truggy.
